International: Global Disability Rights Library launched

Posted 30/6-11 at 03.13

The Global Disability Rights Library (GDRL), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), provides a wealth of information to organizations and individuals in developing countries that seek to promote the rights of disabled people but lack adequate Internet access. It can also be accessed over the internet.

The Global Disability Rights Library is an enhanced version of the WiderNet Project's eGranary Digital Library, an off-line information storage and collaboration platform that provides Internet-like access to digital resources without requiring Internet connectivity.
