Hong Kong: Workplace disability discrimination to be addressed

Lam Woon-kwong, chairman of the Equal Opportunities Commission, said employment discrimination was particularly bad in Hong Kong, especially for disabled people. More than half the complaints received in the past two years had concerned disability discrimination. His remarks opened the launch of three-month public consultation on a revised code of practice on including disabled people in the workplace.
